Giving Delegate Access to Outlook Calendar


Open Outlook click Calendar on the left

click the Home tab at the top click Manage Calendars in the drop-down click Share Calendar.  Choose your calendar to share

Click Add & enter the email address for the person you want to share the calendar.  You can also change the permissions.  


You will want to choose 


You can now schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting on behalf of someone else now that you have been granted “delegate” access to their calendar in Outlook.


Can I use the Teams App:

Yes, you can schedule a Teams meeting on behalf of someone else if you have delegate access to their calendar and are signed into both Teams and Outlook. You'll need to open their calendar, create a new meeting, and add the Teams Meeting details


Open Outlook and navigate to the calendar of the person/delegate whose meeting you are scheduling. 


Creating a Teams Meeting from Outlook Calendar


Click the Calendar icon in Outlook


Check the box of the person Calendar who you are creating the Teams meeting on behalf of & go to their calendar


At the top of the calendar, you will see click Teams Meeting & schedule Meeting

To change meeting Options click
