Importing Grades from Google Classroom to the Aspen Gradebook

Step 1: Link the classroom to your class. To do this, click on the class settings, the cog in the upper right hand corner of your classroom home page:

Under the General heading and the SIS integration subheading, click on Link to produce a list of your classes. 

Select the appropriate class and click Link:

Step 2: Scroll down to the Grading section. Make sure that your grading categories in Google classroom as the same as the categories you have set up in your Aspen gradebook:

Step 3: Go to the Grades tab in Classroom. We suggest that for your first import you select only 1 assignment. It must be an assignment that has been returned to students (if it has been returned. It will be grayed out):

Click on Export to SIS in the upper right and corner:

Select the assignment you would like to passback to Aspen and click Export to SIS:

Check to make sure that the assignment has been imported to the correct category in your Aspen gradebook. If it has not, you may need to manually adjust the category in Aspen:
